The Bosch CM10GD Reviews – Pros and Cons

The Bosch CM10GD Dual-Bevel Glide Miter Saw is kind of mediocre saw. This saw can do custom cabinetry and casework. By the articulating arm, this saw can produce zero clearance. This saw has plenty of power and cuts beautifully. Up front bevel is a great idea. The glide is really nice. The Axial Glide is awesome smooth. The 60 tooth blade is a generous freebie and cuts reasonably well. It can cut straight in miter, bevel, and compound modes right out of the box.

The Bosch CM10GD miter saw is a heavy and quiet large. However, you don’t have to hold the saw to make a cut so I think that it’s not a big deal. Thus, I think that the weight of the saw does not really bother. Dust collection is lousy with the dust bag installed. The safety switch feature although easy to use is annoying. This saw cannot be adjusted to make an accurate 90 degrees cut. The saw has no soft start so it will kick upwards. It does not have a laser or light.

The safety trigger has no by-pass and keeps your thumb unavailable to hold up the blade guard when needed. The front bevel adjustment controls are not intuitive and takes a few tries to get used to. This saw is great except there is a problem with the glide setup. It is too heavy, hard to set, and laser worthless. The miter detents are also inaccurate.

Based on the Bosch CM10GD reviews from both positive and negative sides, I think that the Bosch CM10GD Miter Saw is not really enough to be recommended. Yes this saw has some great features that can make smooth cutting, however this saw also has some downsides that make inaccurate cutting.
